Every commission is developed through a tactile and responsive process that considers both emotion and function. AMY TYSON
Amy brings a rare combination of artistic intuition, technical fluency, and production knowledge to every Auda Sinda project. Originally an abstract painter, she experimented in various handcraft mediums before finding weaving, later studying textile design at FIT in New York. She went on to design rugs in a variety of constructions both handmade and machine made for leading companies including Tufenkian and Stark. That breadth of experience gives her a distinctive ability to move seamlessly between concept and execution.
Her strength lies in helping clients and design teams shape ideas into work that is both beautiful and buildable. From early aesthetic direction and scale to the technical realities of materials, weave structure, and production, Amy offers a deeply informed level of consultation at every phase. She understands how to guide a project with both sensitivity and rigor, making her an invaluable creative partner for interiors that require clarity, nuance, and exacting follow through.
